A project by Rachel Loh
Our use of technology has been integrated so seamlessly into our lives that we tend to use it unconsciously. The act of surfing the Internet has become an everyday tool we use to the extent of it becoming as essential as breathing. However, with the intangible quality of going digital, we may find it difficult to visualize the impact such as the electricity it needs to generate and the carbon footprint it later contributes to our environment. “The Data I Breathe” explores how we can visualize this data in an engaging manner.
Data
Consisting of data collected personally, you will find a series of graphs that illustrate the number of websites and carbon footprint generated over a time period of 7 days.
Artefact
The final outcome will showcase a code-based artefact. It is an abstract interpretation of the data and graphs created in the initial process of this project.
